Fifty Shades Freed

Where Watched: The theater. About 20 people in attendance, just one man. Watched with: My girlfriend aka my submissive Wow. An instant classic. There's Kubrick, Hitchcock, Coppola, and now James Foley. What can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said about The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, or my browser history? The acting? Incredible. I've heard many people compare Jamie Dornan to a young Marlon Brando, although after this performance I'd say he's more comparable to HUMPhrey Bogart. A simple movie blogger would say that Dakota Johnson's acting chops liken themselves to "Meryl Strips" but I would say she is more like Dame Judi Drenched. This movie is the Citizen Kane of our generation but you'd have to replace the word "Rosebud" with "Butt Plug". Classic movie lines such as "Life is like a box of chocolates" and "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore" are now joined

Call Me by Your Name

Where watched: Theaters Watched with: Morgo Call Me by Your Name is about a kid who lives in Italy (I've been to Italy) who's family takes in an exchange student from America. The kid is played by Timothee Chalamet, who is nominated for best actor for this role instead of James Franco. I guess that's what happens when you rape a bunch of chicks. Armie Hammer plays the exchange student. More like Navy Screwdriver. Well they end up wanting to bone, and then they end up boning, and then one of them fucks a piece of fruit and then the other one eats the fruit that had been fucked. This movie is up for best picture. I did not enjoy myself in this movie, and that does NOT make me a homophobe. I fell asleep for a good portion of it because I was very bored. Other than the setting, which was beautiful, I just could not get into this love story, and that is not because it was about two dudes falling in love. I didn't really feel like there was anything interesting about

A Futile and Stupid Gesture

Where watched: Home Who with: alone This movie was made for me. I am a giant Will Forte fan even since MacGruber. This is also a Dohmnall Gleason banger, which is big for me as he is one of my favorite actors. If you haven't seen About Time then fuck you because it is the best romcom there is. It is also extremely funny. It is also available on Netflix so its pretty much free to see. This is the story about the creators of National Lampoon, the comedy magazine that has also put out many of the classic comedy movies that you would know such as Animal House and Caddyshack. It was a really interesting biopic that was told in a really unique way. My biggest takeaway is that it was alarming how predictable it was because it seems like almost every person that starts off funny and cool gets a little taste of fame and then ends up being a real dickhead and unlikable. That's the reason I haven't been putting in the effort to make this blog as funny and popular as it could

Gone with the Wind

Where watched: Theaters/ Home Watched with: myself. So the theater I go to has something called "Flashback Cinema" or some shit and plays a classic movie every Sunday and Wednesday. Classic movies like Gone with the Wind, The Godfather, and Harry Potter 2. This was my first time dabbling in Flashback Cinema and it will not be my last. I went to the theater and loved this movie from the start. I thought it was funny, it was an interesting topic, although I don't know how I feel about the south being painted like victims in the Civil War. I could see why it was a classic. I loved Clark Gable's Rhett Butler. He was a smooth talking, rich, smart ass and I found myself idolizing his character. I despised Scarlett O'hara, as she is one of the biggest brats and most insufferable movie characters I have ever seen. I had so much respect for what I was watching, especially knowing what a classic it was and all of the history. This movie had the first oscar given to
